Will my car smoke more with the Spider® tuning system fitted?
Under normal driving circumstances, diesel cars are now very cIean running engines with high technology emission control
systems, but even a standard dieseI engine will be found to puff out a blast of smoke when you switch down a gear and give it some pace. Fitting the Spider® will not
normaIly cause the exhaust gases to be anymore sooty than when standard.
This said, should you raise the fuelling parameters of the Spider® to an excessive degree, yes your car will be even more
faster but you should expect a little more soot on hard acceleration. But under normal driving even a highly tuned Spider® should not smoke excessively.
