Spider® - Audi A4 2.0 TDI Common Rail 2009

Hiya - I am so pleased with my Spider that I would like to submit this review:- I have recently fitted your recommended Spider to my 143ps Audi A4 Avant Multitronic once it had covered the recommended mileage from new. The unit is very easy to fit with good instructions and diagrams. It is plug and play so I just followed the start-up procedure and went off for a test drive. The increase in pick-up was immediately noticeable and after about 50 miles the unit had learnt my driving style and it was like driving the same car fitted with the three litre diesel engine. From standstill the acceleration's is phenomenal - with ESP having to control the wheel spin. On kick down overtakes, the car picks up power smoothly and quickly never giving you cause for concern on a fast manoeuvre and on a 'full blast overtake' with 'sport' selected on the gearbox, it keeps on powering on past 4000 rpm. My wife and I have just returned from a tour of southern Germany from Stuttgart to Salzburg using the Alpenstrasse over the Alps - so a lot of twisty roads up and down the mountains. Then a 750km dash north to get out of the rain and a tour up the Rhine Valley. The driving conditions ranged from 90-125 mph Autobahn drives to roads up and down the Alps - a total of 3000 miles. Average MPG on cooking diesel - wait for it - 44.8mpg!!! The Autobahn dashes on cruise at 95mph averaged 53.4mpg. And a recent M11 run at 62.5 mpg on cruise!!!!! Thank you Spider - great product and I shall recommend this to all my diesel owning friends.
